Explore, learn and buy in a beautiful setting.

Whether you’re looking for trees, shrubs, perennials, berries, or even exotic house plants, and maybe some annuals and vegetables (we never know until all the trucks are unloaded), the EA&G plant sale has something that you need in your garden–and at the right price.

Alan Heck, this year’s plant sale chair, says our nursery is FULL–and we’re expecting at least two more large donations before Saturday, June 18, opening day for the sale. The Arboretum depends on this sale to help fund projects that improve the gardens. Last year’s sale helped purchase plant material for the renovated Small Tree Walk. We have plans for the Backyard Garden in the works–and more. So come see us this coming weekend and buy our plants!

Plant Sale Hours: Saturday, June 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. (yes, Father’s Day–bring your Dad) Monday, June 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everything is half price

You’ll meet Dode Carlson and other Master Gardeners who can answer your questions about the border, which contains a large number of perennials, grasses, small trees and even an insect house. They will also be happy to tell you about what’s involved in becoming a Master Gardener.

No registration is required for this in-person education opportunity.
